Summer Learning Journey - Day 12 Activity 1

For this activity I had to write a short review about the video I watched from the country I chose (Mexico). The name of the video is called Maria Belen. One thing I liked about the video is that there were some funny parts. The video was a little bit hard to see because it was blurry. I would rate this video 3 stars (***).

  1. Hi Aj,

I have never heard of that movie but it sounds fun to watch because you said there are funny parts also rating it 3 stars thats really good.

  2. Hi AJ, this sounds like a very good movie. I like how you gave reason why you like the movie. Hope you do more Summer Learning Journey Activities. Keep up the great work!!!

  3. Hi AJ
That movie sounds great, but like you, I don't like it when the movies are blurry and you can't see it much. Keep it up AJ!

  4. Hi AJ,

I'm sorry to hear that the video was blurry for you. It must have been frustrating to try and watch it. For some reason, it is quite clear on my screen. I'll have to keep that in mind for next year and test all of the videos on multiple devices before I select them.

Having said that, it sounds like you did find some of the video to be funny. That is the goal of Maria Belen. It is supposed to make you laugh.

What is the funniest television show that you watch here in New Zealand? My favourite television show to watch at the moment is 'How I Met Your Mother.' It is an older, American sit-com but it really makes me laugh. I think that I like it so much because there is a character who is supposedly from Canada (Robyn) and she often makes silly Canadian jokes that make me smile :)

Nice work with your blogging, AJ. Keep it up!

  5. Hi AJ, I agree with you. It would be hard to watch something blurry it must be funny enough to get it 3 stars even if it is blurry. Keep up the great work AJ!
