Multimodal Reading

Today for reading LS2 worked on a multimodal about the bar tailed godwit. A multimodal is a page where you can read information and listen to videos about your topic. First we had to name ways of travelling overseas today, 30 years ago and 100 years ago. We also had to write they might of had. Another activity was reciprocal reading. In the reciprocal reading activity we had to make a prediction about the paragraph. When we finished that we had say any words you were unsure of. We then had to ask questions about the text and the characters. Finally we had to summarize the paragraph you read.
Here is a link to the multimodal page. Multimodal Link

  1. Hi son, what a very thorough and interesting way to read, listen, watch and find information about a topic. I liked that there were different ways to present information because I sometimes like to watch rather than read.
