Today the year seven and eights went for their tech sessions at Tamaki College. The year eights had cooking with Mrs Heka. We were making chicken kebabs with potato salad. The ingredients for the potato salad were egg, potato, bacon, spring onions and salad dressing. For the kebabs I used chicken and I used soy sauce. When I mixed the chicken and the soy sauce together, put the chicken on the kebab sticks and gave it to Mrs Heka so she could put it in the oven. When it was cooked it tasted it. It tasted really nice.

Watercare/Water Testing

I have created a presentation about water testing with Sally from Water care. We did three tests. I found them really interesting. My favourite test was test three because we got test different kinds of liquids. I tested bike cleaner and ribena.

Today the year seven and eights had their first session of tech at Tamaki College. The year eights subject was food tech. Our teachers name was Mrs Heka. The ingredients we used was bread, cheese, bacon, spaghetti and pineapple. We cut off the crust from the bread and put the bread in the muffin trays. We then mixed the cheese, spaghetti, pineapple and bacon together in the cooking bowl we poured it in the bread. Mrs Heka then put it in the oven. When they were finished Mrs Heka took them out and we tried it. It tasted really good.

The Water Cycle

For inquiry LS2 Group B has been learning about the water cycle. The water cycle has four parts. This is a cycle because it keeps on going round and round and it repeats itself.
