Summer Holidays Week One Day Two Activity

For this activity I have to list 3 facts on how to stay safe on a plane.

  • Put your seat belt on and keep it on for the whole flight.
  • If you are in danger on the plane you can reach down under your seat and grab a life jacket.
  • When a breathing mask comes down you put it on your mouth and nose and pull the straps and breathe normal.

  1. Good morning Aminiasi,

You have clearly watched the 'Men In Black' safety video carefully because you have captured three of the most important elements of staying safe while flying. Well done!

I must admit that I really enjoyed this particular in-flight safety video from Air New Zealand. I thought that Israel Dagg did a really good job singing/rapping and that the other All Blacks and rugby greats also did a great job. What did you think of the video?

Air New Zealand is known for their creative safety videos and have adopted a number of different themes over the years. They had a video based on the 'Lord of the Rings' triology, a video that featured professional surfers, and a video that featured Bear Grylls in the wild. They're pretty entertaining!

If you'd like to watch other Air New Zealand in-flight videos, simply google 'Air NZ Safety Videos' and you'll find links to many of their classic videos! I'd love to know which one you like the best!

    Cheers,

    Rachel
