Today I started the Winter Learning Journey. The Winter Learning Journey is a bunch of online activities that is set during the Winter holidays. For this task we had to go on the Tourism New Zealand website and click on Facts - New Zealand People tab. We then had to choose three interesting facts and put them in our own words. Here are the facts I found out.
1. Did you know over three quarters of NZ's population lives in the North Island?
2. Are you aware that 15% of NZ families own their own boat?
3. New Zealand's national sport is rugby.

ReplyDeleteI also love the pictures that you included of the boat and of the All Blacks. Speaking of the ABs, did you watch the game last night between the All Blacks and the British/Irish lions? I was able to tape the game and I sat down and watched it late last night. It was a nail biter - so close the entire time...
