Inter-School Cross Country
Yesterday the year 3-8 students who came first, second and third from the school cross country went down to Bailey Road for the inter-school cross country. Since I am a year eight, I had to do four laps. The other year eight boys who were with me were Te Wai and Daniel. We all did really well and all managed to come in the top ten.

PBS Cross Country
Last Thursday Panmure Bridge went to Dunkirk Park to have our school cross country. Boys and girls went one at a time and everyone ran in their year groups except for the senior classes. I was in a race with year seven and eights. We had to run five laps of the course. In my race the top three year seven boys and the top three year eight boys would go to the inter-school cross country. I did really well and I managed to tie first with my friend Daniel.

Inter-School Cross Country
Today in the morning the people who came first, second and third at our school country went to Bailey Road school to compete in the inter-school cross country. When we got to see other students from other school who made it to the inter-school cross country. Each year group got a different colour band to tell who is in which year group. When it was my turn to race I went to the start line. I was really nervous. The siren went off and I started to run. There was lots of mud and I slipped a couple of times. At the end I came 12th overall.

Cross Country
Today after lunch Panmure Bridge School had our school country. We walked across the road to Dunkirk Park. Some of the senior students were sent places around the course to guide the students running. Running first were the year ones and went in order to the year sevens and eights. The years 7's and 8's had to run around the course four times. By looking at the course it looked really easy but when I was running it was no way near easy. At the beginning of the race I stayed at the back. Some people were running as fast as they could at the beginning. Around on my third lap I started to pass some other people. I then knew I had a chance to come first, second or third. On my last lap I pushed harder to get a good finish. At the end I came third which is good because I tried my best.

Cross Country
For the past couple of weeks on Monday and Tuesday the seniors have been doing Cross Country practice for the real Cross Country which is next week on Wednesday. Before we run we do some stretches. Then Mr Ogilvie called us by year groups to start running. I ran 5 laps around the school. I think that I am getting faster and more fitter.
