Summer Learning Journey - Traditional Breakfast Meals

For this activity I had to compare the picture of common breakfast foods in the country I chosen with what you typically eat for breakfast here in New Zealand. On my blog, I had to tell :
  1. What you eat for breakfast - Milo Cereal.
  2. What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast -Chilequilas
  3. Which of the two breakfast options (your breakfast or the breakfast in the other country) you prefer. Why do you prefer it? - I would prefer Milo Cereal because I could see eggs on the Chilequilas and I don't really like egg.

  2. Hi AJ
Nice work on this activity. I would probably prefer milo and cereal instead of chilequilas. Keep up the good work AJ!

  3. Hi AJ,

I find it really interesting to read that you don't really care for eggs. I think that you might be the first person who I have met who doesn't really like them.

In your case, I can completely understand why you would choose the Milo cereal for breakfast instead of the chilequilas. I suppose that you could swap out the eggs, though, and just have veggies, cheese and meat in your chilequila. Does that sound better?

I think that I may try to make chilequilas for breakfast one day soon. I absolutely love central and south american foods, particularly those from Chile and from Mexico. We used to eat a lot of Mexican food when I lived in Canada but it's not very popular here in New Zealand so I've stopped. I do miss my tacos and my nachos, I must admit. They are soooo good!

Have you ever tried tacos or nachos, AJ?

    All the best,
    Rachel :)
