I looked around the room. Nothing seemed unusual, but then I heard a sound in my closet. I went to check my closet. When I open to see what was inside. It jumped out and got me a big fright. I turned the lights on and it was my older brother. He shouted "Aprils Fools Day". He got me back from last years Aprils fools day. Then I went to go and chase him. When my brother was running he yelled out "Now we are even".
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson, and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Summer Holidays Week 1 Day 4 Bonus Activity
For this activity I had to choose your favourite beginning and finish the story. You can use your imagination and create any ending that you want. Post the ending that you have created on your blog.

Oh, no! It sounds like your brother was quite cunning and clever by hiding in the closet and then jumping out to give you a scare! Is this story based on real life events by any chance?
ReplyDeleteI think that I am very lucky because my sister never did anything like that to me when we were growing up. She never hid in the closet or under my bed to scare me. I'm really glad that she didn't because I'm sure that I would have been terrified!
Have you ever planned a really elaborate trick on someone? If so, what did you do? I'd love to hear about it!
In the meantime, I hope the you have a wonderful evening and that your brother stays out of your closet and doesn't scare you before you go to bed :)
Sleep well,
Rachel
Hi Aminiasi,
ReplyDeleteThis is a friendly reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday 26 January) is the final day of the Summer Learning Journey. If you're keen to earn more points and be in to win cool prizes please log onto the Summer Learning Journey site, complete any of the 14 days' worth of activities and post a blog.
I'll check back in tomorrow to see if you've posted anything new. I hope that you're able to re-join our journey before it comes to an end!
Cheers,
Rachel
Hi Aminiasi,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You were the third most active blogger from Panmure Bridge School for the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. Way to go! You won the bronze medal. What an awesome achievement!
Given your involvement with the programme, I would love to come into Panmure Bridge School this year to meet up and chat a bit about the summer blogging programme. I am hoping to improve the current design and to launch it in all 12 Manaiakalani cluster schools next summer (2016-2017). Would you be willing to meet with me? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I would also love it if you took a minute to fill in the feedback form on the Summer Learning Journey website. It can be found under the ‘Feedback’ tab. It’s a short online form that asks you questions about what you liked and didn’t like about the programme. Could you please fill it out? It will take about 5-10 minutes. Thanks!
Finally, I have a prize for you to acknowledge your awesome work this summer. I will bring it into Panmure Bridge school early in the year to give it to you.
See you at school in a few weeks!
Cheers,
Rachel
